FILMING RATES FOR DANCE COVERS

Deciding how much time you need for filming can be tricky but it is essential to think about before placing a booking. For the most success good planning and reference are key and will help keep the shoot running smoothly.

We have a minimum 2 hour filming booking.

A few tips when planning your shoot:

  • Decide if you will shoot full take or sections or both. If sections, try to plan how you will split up the song before the shoot.

  • Location ! Having a reliable and safe location is essential ! Try to scout the location beforehand and also make sure you understand what permits or permissions you may require for filming. If we have to move location during the shoot the filming time continues. Studios are always ideal and if you need assistance finding one you can contact us.

  • Create a schedule ! Even a basic schedule for the shoot will help keep everyone on track.

  • Check the weather ! We do not film in rain so the shoot must be called off or we must move to a dry area to continue.

  • Prepare reference ! Reference photos and video will greatly assist in conveying your vision to us and help us deliver even better results !

Please note: Your booking determines the minimum cost for the shoot. Even if the shoot wraps early, the filming cost remains at the booked amount. This is to keep it fair for everyone who may have missed out on that blocked time !

If the shoot goes overtime additional time is charged at a rate of $100/Hour in 15 minute blocks.

    After the shoot an invoice will be sent to your email. Footage is then uploaded to a google drive and the link is shared once payment has been received.

  • This lighting kit includes 2x White LED front lights and 2x Colour/White LED Back lights. It is suitable for most dance covers with up to 12 dancers depending on the choreography.

These LED panels are CRI97+ and can create any colour or white light. You will see them at the back of most of our dance covers providing an additional splash of colour !
